Welcome to Saint Patrick's Catholic Primary School.
My name is Mr Graeme Hawes, and it is both a privilege and a pleasure to welcome you to our school.
At Saint Patrick's, we are incredibly proud of our school community. We are a school where faith, learning and relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission statement guides us each day:
"We work, we love, we learn, we pray, we spread the Gospel message every day."
These words are more than a slogan. They reflect who we are and underpin every aspect of school life, from the way we care for one another to the way we strive for excellence in learning.
As a Catholic school, our faith shapes our values and our approach to education. We welcome all families, regardless of background, and seek to create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and loved. We celebrate the uniqueness of every individual and recognise the gifts and talents that each child brings to our school family.
We are proud to be a school with high expectations. We want every child to achieve their very best academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Our curriculum is ambitious, engaging and inclusive, providing a wide range of opportunities that support children on their individual learning journeys. Alongside strong academic foundations, we place great importance on enrichment, pupil leadership, creativity, sport, music and service to others.
One of the greatest strengths of Saint Patrick's is the partnership we build with parents and carers. We believe that children thrive when schools and families work together. We see ourselves as an extension of your family, working alongside you to help your child grow in confidence, faith and achievement.
As a parent myself, I understand that choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family makes. I firmly believe that every child deserves a school where they are known, cared for and encouraged to flourish. The standards, care and opportunities we provide at Saint Patrick's are exactly what I would want for my own children.
Our website aims to give you a flavour of life at Saint Patrick's and provide useful information for both current and prospective families. I would also encourage you to visit our dedicated Facebook page, where we regularly share news, celebrations and the many enrichment opportunities that help make our school such a special place.
However, websites can only tell part of the story. I warmly invite you to come and visit us so that you can experience first-hand the welcoming atmosphere, strong relationships and sense of community that make Saint Patrick's unique.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. If you have any questions, or if you would like to arrange a visit, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
I look forward to welcoming you to Saint Patrick's Catholic Primary School.
